The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Central Valley County in northeast Montana...
* until 700 PM MDT.
* At 553 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were located along a line extending from 22 miles northwest of Larslan to 14 miles northwest of Saint Marie to Vandalia... or along a line extending from 38 miles north of Glasgow to 24 miles north of Glasgow to 21 miles northwest of Glasgow... and were moving southeast at 30 mph.
* Locations in the warning include... Vandalia... Tampico... Saint Marie... Glasgow and Larslan
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path... prepare immediately for damaging winds... destructive hail... and deadly cloud to ground lightning. People outside should move to a shelter... preferably inside a strong building but away from windows.
